November through May is our busiest time. As a small, family-run company, we offer just two tours per day—morning and afternoon—and will be booked out every day through this period. To avoid disappointment, please book early. If we’re fully booked online, unfortunately no other options are available.

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy

Cancellations for "Off the Beaten Track" Tours (24+ Hours' Notice):
If you need to cancel your "Off the Beaten Track" tour, just give us at least 24 hours' notice, and we’ll happily refund your full payment. Please reach out to us as soon as possible at contact@glowing.co.nz.

Cancellations for Private/Photography Tours (48+ Hours' Notice):
For Private or Photography tours, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice. This gives us time to resell the spaces, and we’ll gladly refund the full payment. The sooner you let us know, the better! Just drop us a message at contact@glowing.co.nz.

Last-Minute Cancellations:
If you cancel within 24 hours of your tour or don’t show up, unfortunately, we won’t be able to offer a refund. We reserve those spots for you, and someone else may have missed out.

Third-Party Bookings:
If you booked through a third-party website, you’ll need to contact them directly for any changes or cancellations. They handle the funds for up to a month after the tour, so they’ll process your refund accordingly.

Changing Tour Time/Day:
Want to switch your booking’s day or time? We can try to accommodate changes, but availability will depend on the season, especially during peak times. Just send us an email, and we’ll do our best to help!

Declined Participation:
We don’t offer refunds if participants are declined from the tour upon arrival. Our team may need to refuse participation if someone poses a safety risk to themselves or others (for example, due to medical or mobility issues, or being under the age limit). Please refer to our Safety Policy for more information. If you’re unsure, feel free to email us in advance.

Last-Minute Changes:
Due to our busy schedule, we’re unable to accommodate changes within 24 hours of your tour. We’ve got a lot happening, and short-notice adjustments are tricky.

Weather-Related Cancellations:
Sometimes nature has other plans. If we need to cancel or reschedule due to weather (like flooding), you’ll receive a full refund. Be sure to include your phone number when booking so we can reach you if needed.
