November through May is our busiest time. As a small, family-run company, we offer just two tours per day—morning and afternoon—and will be booked out every day through this period. To avoid disappointment, please book early. If we’re fully booked online, unfortunately no other options are available.
Cancellations for "Off the Beaten Track" tours with at least 24 Hours' Notice: Give us at least 24 hours' heads-up, and we'll gladly refund your full payment. Just drop us a line ASAP at contact@glowing.co.nz.
Cancellations for Private/Photography tours need at least 48 Hours' Notice: Give us at least 48 hours' notice as we need a bit more time to resell those spaces, and we'll gladly refund the full payment. Just drop us a line ASAP at contact@glowing.co.nz. The sooner the better.
Last-Minute Cancellations: If you decide to bail within 24 hours of your tour or simply don't show up, sorry, no refund is coming your way. This is because someone may have missed out on those spaces that we were holding just for you.
Third Party Bookings: If you've booked through a third-party website and want to make changes or cancel, you'll need to reach out to them directly. Generally they handle the funds until a month after the tour is completed, so they will process your refund directly.
Changing Tour Time/Day: Want to switch up your booking's day or time with plenty of notice? This is very dependent on availability especially in the peak season. Just flick us an email and we will see what we can do.
Declined Participation: No refund will be given if participants are declined participation upon arrival for the tour. Our staff has an obligation to refuse individuals from participating if they may pose a hazard to themselves or others, such as due to medical or mobility issues, or being under the age limit etc. Please refer to our Safety Policy for more details. If you are uncertain, please email us in advance.
Last-Minute Changes: Unfortunately, we can't accommodate changes within 24 hours of your tour. Things get pretty hectic, and it's tough to rearrange on short notice.
Weather-Related Cancellations: Every now and then nature throws us a curveball. If we have to cancel or reschedule due to something like flooding you'll get a full refund. Make sure to leave your phone number when booking so we can reach you if needed.
